Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video is being officially inducted into the U.S. National Film Registry by the Library of Congress, making it the first music video to ever be included in the registry. Released theatrically on 35mm film and played extensively on TV and the web ever since its release, the Library of Congress hailed the video as a lavish production that "revolutionized the music industry." Michael Jackson is set to receive a posthumous Grammy for Lifetime Achievement Award, adding to his previous 15 Grammy Awards. Others receiving the award include Leonard Cohen, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Loretta Lynn, Andre Previn, Clark Terry and late singer Bobby Darin. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award winners will be honored by The Recording Academy at an invitation-only event on January 30th, the day before the official Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Michael Jackson tops this year's internet searches across the three biggest search engines: Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Jackson bumps Britney Spears from the top spot on Yahoo which she has held for the past four years. "When the news of Michael Jackson's death came out the traffic was overwhelming," said Vera Chan, Web trend analyst at Yahoo Inc.

"Dancing With the Stars" says it plans to honor Michael Jackson with a special performance by the 16 professional dancers participating in this season's competition.

The hour will pay tribute to the King of Pop with a medley of Jackson songs representing different eras of his long career, in a fusion of classic ballroom and Latin styles.

One member of the "Dancing With the Stars" troupe, Cheryl Burke, says Jackson and his music are "an inspiration to every dancer." Being part of this tribute, she says, "is an honor."

The program airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
